Tania Walker


Tania Walker is a 22 year old singer/ songwriter from Perth Western Australia.
Originally from Papua New Guinea Tania has been playing music professionally from the tender age of 12.
As well as dabbling in acting, television commercials, and musical theatre.

Tania started writing her own material at age 14 when she first picked up the guitar.
Since then she has played in venues across Australia, from Alice Springs , to Cairns, Tamworth, Sydney and back to Fremantle. She’s also performed shows in New York City and Papua New Guinea,
Where she recorded a number one album with CHM recording studio.

Most recently she has just returned from a 3month stint in New York City where she was working on her song writing , and recording with
world renowned bass legend Lonnie Plaxico, who has played with artists such as ,The Roots, Cassandra Wilson and India Arie, and was mentored by Jazz vocalist Michelle Carr, daughter of legendary jazz diva Nancy Wilson.
Tania is currently working on new material for an independent release
