| I started in a band called distant dayz yes it was spelt with a z and it was a few young guys getting together to play music mostly covers but hey!!! we all have to start somewhere Moved from there to a band called bonifide where i embarked on lyric writing and still like some of the stuff it was nostly electronic but thats what was in at the time so a bit of a move again when got together with a few guys that were compitent in playing and we called ourselfs company of strangers after the bad company album basicly we was rock influenced then i got wed and until about 6 months or so ago just started to write and learn to play guitar witha a few songs now with both music and lyrics composed by my good self im starting from the bottom up Tam mccallum -vocals / guitar : what type of band artist are you?~ First and foremost i am a singer songwriter And it’s not a band set up for the moment but i am actively seeking other musicians to work with , i generally believe to achieve a unique sound you need different people with many influences : tell us the brief history of you / your band.~ I started my interest in music many years ago i have been involved in 3 bands distant days , bonfire and company of strangers at the time i played no instrument only contributing in lyrics and for 20 years i had little or no involvement in making music and recently my passion for music was aroused so i got myself a guitar and started writing again : who are your musical and non-musical influences?~ I must say my taste in music is very broad and to pinpoint it down to a few artists would be unfair : what are your dreams and goals?~ Well just to be contented in what i do to be honest i just take things a day at a time : who writes the songs, what are they about?~ Well all songs are writen by myself most are life experience : describe your show, visual and musically~ I can’t really describe it at the moment i the kincaid live gig was my first and i still have lots to develop : what are some of your pet peeves?~ Rude people . : tell us about your next shows Well there are no fixed dates yet but i hope to be able to tell you more soon i have lots of work to do in the writing dept to have enough material to have a set |
