It's been a looong time since I've graced this site. I had a band for a little while but since I've moved down to Austin I wasn't able to keep them. So I'm looking again. I've revamped my photos and musical mission. So if you are at all interested give me a shout!

Ive been working on some pieces on Reason I havent touched in a while. I think I'm finally back into the swing of things. Winter and Fall give me so much inspiration...I just wish it would get cold!

Oh, forgot to mention that last month I went to see Nine Inch Nails in concert. It was so friggin awesome, I really feel inspired now. The energy from that was like nothing I have ever experienced. I cant wait to be in a band again and experience even a tenth of that then its worth it.

I was born and raised in the heart of Texas. Even with that being said I am far from a country girl. I have followed other great music this state has given us..southern rock, metal, and blues. I have been singing since I was a wee one, but was only headstrong in pursuing it for life starting in sixth grade/ junior high. I sang in every grade choir from then on until college. When in high school I also took on private operatic lessons as well as experimenting with singing more hard rocking music with various musicians I knew. By the time I graduated I was pretty well-rounded in musical knowledge, performance, and style. I attended college for only one year not really knowing what kind of music I should pursue as an actual career. But it's experience with working in and improv and rock band has leant a lot to my talents today. I was able to expand my rock voice even more and broaden my horizons about music in general. Now do I not only perform but I write and record my own music as well. About a year ago I started with an already established paying band (which was a first for me) in Dallas, Tx. I learned quite a bit about the actual industry of the live band circuit which has helped me even more. Unfortunately, I moved in January down here to Austin which is a difficult market to look for a band. But I will surely stay optimistic and hope I will find something. I see myself to always be learning more and more and honing my talents and working with cool people who will teach me a lot. (more)
