Formed in early 2006 and based in Dublin, Silkeborg came from two friends, Sean and Gareth, who had played together many times before in bands. Their main interest was to make great music and jam pack it with energy. Enter Tom, a crazy blond Dutch chap who loves music and has a slight resemblence to Johnny Rotten. Also drafted in was Davin who plays (amongst other instruments such as trombone) drums like a freight train on speed. The band were brewing their own brand of high octane alternative music that will smack you acros the face and make you move to the beat. Coming to a venue near you soon. Hve a listen to the demos. The sound quality is fairly poor but you get the idea.
