The idea for the name Rezin8 was first thought of in 1998. The idea came from the words resonance and to resonate – like notes do through space and time. “Our music Rezin8’s through the concrete-tropical city we live in.” – Rezin8

During 2001 and 2002, Drummer Chris Velasco and ex band member Jay Oreals (Milk shed), wrote a few of the first songs. Songs such as Did It, Vanish into nothing and State Alert laid the foundation for the band’s existing sound.

In March of 2003 Chris introduced new members to the band, Corey Cangelosi, Fabio Guerra, and John Camacho. They would go on to help Chris continue what he started with Jay, and to start on what has made Rezin8’s sound raw, groovy, and hard! This type of metal sound is what drives the minds of five individuals to write songs about how life is seen through their eyes.

Since then the band has played numerous amounts of gigs, they've played over twenty local shows from Miami, to Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach, Florida. Eight more songs have been written since then and now the band is making a buzz in the local scene and expanding their new heavy sound further than the current radius. Watch out !!

REZIN8 has now exploded with a powerhouse of new talent! Chris and Fab From Da Lab have added Alex Carreras to vocal's, the Garcia brother's Angel on guitar, Hermes on precusion/sample's, and Jose Machado a long time friend and old band mate on bass. It does'nt get better than that ! With the new line up REZIN8 is showing no sign's of slowing down. There hard , There heavy, There here to stay !! Look out for the new album coming this fall
