In December of 2004, four very good friends decided to change the way they were living their lives….forever, by playing good music. They picked up their instruments and rocked around for the first time creating the very first stages of the song called “Barry’s song” which eventually becomes the first song they made. From that moment on, they knew that they had started a new beginning in life. Enter the crazy machine known as My Private Hell, the Los Angeles based heavy rock band that expresses strongly about the struggles of everyday life and all of the different elements it comes with.
Gian Erguiza, vocalist/guitarist, is the six string madness slash singer/screamer. Gian is the voice of expression for all four band member’s feelings or views towards the world and its ways.
Blue Palacol, bassplayer, is the bigger than life psycho bottom end of the band. Blue holds down the sound like no other, like a monster. Blue is the crazy one that was always fascinated with the whole rock n roll lifestyle and all of its amenities.
Jigger Ferrer, guitarist/backup vocals is the six shooter/stringer extravaganza. Jigger is the youngest of all four making him the young blood/party spirit/crazy man of the band.
Eric Cuarez, drummer, is the drummer they call the “machine”. Eric is definitely the explosive backbone of the band, the music enthusiast, drummer who pounds on the drums like a madman but with great power and precision.
Ever since the first show at a backyard in January 15th, 2005, the band knew that it was time to pursue the dreams of making a mark on the map by doing what they love to do, playing music live and loud. My Private Hell is a cultural creation of hardships with a message and everyday life thrown in for a perfect mix. Four Filipinos with different views on life, different upbringing, different way of living/thinking, fresh music, something new to the table.
My Private Hell is currently seeking label and distribution to further their pursuit of global acceptance through a beautiful medium of madness
My Private Hell is also currently seeking gigs and venues to play and unleash their own breed of sound to the masses.
