This week the new tracks I uploaded 'last week Rainbows End' and 'Ur Dmpt' hit No 1 and No2 in the Sheffield Top 20 and 11 and 12 respectively inthe Global Top 20.

I have now found a website that allows bands to sell thier downloaded directly on line.

www.indiestore.com

I have also seen that some American bands seem to be able to upload 4 tracks to Muso lits not just 2. Dont know how they can do this. But anyeay because of this I have set up another Muso account under the name 1Manbanned and uploaded some additional tracks . These have just entered the Sheffield Top 20

24th Oct. Well this week saw 'Pretty in Pink' and 'Oilsick (on your Driveway) at No1 & 2 respectively in the Shefield Top 20 for the second week running but they droped to 10 and 12 in the Global Top 20, so I have taken them off to do some remixing . I have today uploaded two new songs.

'Ur Dmpt' is sort of a 'response' to 'Pretty In Pink'. Pretty in PInk is about the end of a relationship from the 'Dumpee's ' angle, while 'UR DMPT' is from the view of the Dumper. Both should be taken with a large dose of humour.

The secoid song I have uploaded is listed as 'Rainbows End' BUT it's actual title 'Diamonds and Disappointments' . However, I have tried several times to upload it under this title but somehow another track by a different artist with 'Diamond' in its title appears on my site not my own song. So I changed th etitle and the song uploaded OK.

'Rainbows End ' is a reasonable alternatve title , if you listen to the song , but 'Diamonds and Disappointments' is the proper and more poetic title and the song is under this title on my Myspace page.

I have found that my song ' Who''s that Knocking' is not playing for some reason. I have uploaded it again (I checked it was playing before I did it) but it still doesnt seem to be working. I'll try it again in a few days to see if it works.

25 Sept 06. I have uploaded today a Pop song I wrote and recorded this week at hokw. I treated myself to a Zoom Digital Recording Studio thingy to do some composing with. This is m first attemtp at using the thing and I havent reay got the hnag of it yet. Anyway its was fun and again all the sounds are generated by me. 2 guitar tracks, bass, drums percussion and even tubular Bells - again a lot of the sounds thanks to Roland EM15 keyboard. The song is really writen for a girl to sing , but I didnt have one of those handy this week, so chages couple of lines in the lyrics and I did the vocals myself. When I con

The song I have uploaded today ' Who's that Knocking' I finished writing last September and recorded it at Burton Street Studio last October as an excercise in trying to learn how to use the equipment. As a bit of a 'Billy No Mates' ALL the parts are played by me and to try to impove my crap voice I tripple track recorded it to add body.

When I say 'All' actually its just Two instruments - Roland keyboard for keyboards, bass and drums and Guitar. The guitar is a Line 6 Variax set to replicate a Gibson Les Paul. As you can see by the photo I do actually have a Les Paul, and its a Gibson , but in the studio found I got a better sound from the Variax pretending to be a Gibson ... bugger !!!
