Dav Douglas
Dav began writing music at age 13. More than twenty years later he continues to turn out great songs in a prolific and consistent flood of emotions. Still reeling from the tragic loss of his brother a few years back, Dav keeps his faith in music as a healing power alive. Love found love lost, is better than love that never was and this theme runs through a lot of Dav Douglas songs. Dav was the driving force behind "Skoolboyz", a Vancouver band which enjoyed some commercial success from 1983 to '87. Television appearances and radio exposure on both sides of the border kept Dav in the spotlight through the nineties. 2001 saw Dav join "The Rekkerz", a band which found its stage on Wreck Beach and played to hundreds of sun worshippers in the mid-summer heat. Currently polishing the new project. Keep the faith and Rock On!
