size="2">Personal Statement: “After
being in and around the music business for this long, all I want to do
is entertain people. Call me lazy, but I've no aspirations of being a
rock star anymore. I still write music for my own amusement, but I
always have gotten a kick out of seeing how close I can duplicate a
record. A lot of guitarists will learn the basic chord structure of a
hit song, and then put their own solo in it. That just kills me. On the
other hand, I've got no problem with taking a classic song, twisting it
around, and making something completely different out of it. I just
love that surprised look on people's faces when they figure out what
you're playing, and then hit the dance floor.”
size="2">Personal Info: Currently
employed as a Senior R&D Tech at National Instruments in Austin,
TX. Married (to the same lady) since 1981. One son, age 19, who's also
a guitar player and a great roadie. Non-smoking, no drugs.
