Jyme was created in Tampa, Florida, May of 2002 by Anthony (Vocals) and Tim (Lead Guitar)Tonnesen. The brothers had been playing together in bands since 1995, and decided that, after many line-up and name changes, they needed a fresh start. Near the end of 2002, Jyme joined forces with acclaimed producer, and Hurricane Pass studio owner, Dan O'Brien. Dan graciously opened his studio doors to the guys, and helped the brothers refine their writing skills. Now armed with the new knowledge and musical abilities, Jyme works to uphold the same great writing style their fans enjoy, while adding a new element of wisdom and experience! Many accomplishments have been made in Jyme's short timespan, such as: airplay on local rock station 97X, a victory at SugarLight Production's Battle of The Bands, and a Crazy New Year's Eve Party sponsored by ClearChannel's 98Rock! Look for the self-titled debut album soon!
