| Hey all, My name is John, I am looking for people to start A christian based band in the Detroit area, I live in the Dearborn area and have a strong passion for music. It is what God has blessed me with and I am getting very sick of not using it. I'll give you a little bit of my history and if you feel we could work well together get at me. I started playing bass when I was 13, I am 20 now. I was in my first real band when I was 16. When that broke up I started a band with a few friends called My Epsilon, you may or may not of heard of us. That was the best experience of my life. The band broke up several times (a sign?) and towards the end it proved to be good reasoning. I am looking for a similar sound though. I do like hardcore but I am not one of those "jump on the bandwagon" type guys. Not to mention The industry is over crowded with hard core wannabe bands. I do want a band with edge though. I AM NOT looking for a Praise and Worship Band or to be a part of the next underOath or Haste The Day (even though they are amazing.) Sorry for going on so long but I am very serious about this and want nothing more than to do it as a career. Please get at me if you are interested. I PREFER all members be out of highschool. I play bass, guitar(rythm), write music and write lyrics. My singing isn't the best but I could do it if need be, and honestly wouldn't mind. Thanks, John |
