I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Frank Valdez and I am a freelance musician with technical proficiency on Drums, Percussion, Various Saxophones, flute, clarinet and Vocals. I have performed in the U.S. and abroad not only as an Army Bandsman but also as an Independent Contractor working with civilian groups wherever I have been stationed. Since my retirement from the military in 1995 I have continued performing in the Southeast region with a majority of the venues being in the greater Atlanta area. In addition, I have also played in San Diego, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Vail, CO; Boston, MA; and Chicago, IL for corporate events of national companies.
I have been playing mostly in the Pop/Radio format recently but I am also a very good reader and can improvise as attested to by winning the Overall Best Performer for the Search for the Stars of Europe Competition and the Starstruck On-line competition. I am very comfortable performing in front of large or small audiences as in performing at the Tabernacle or the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, the quiet corporate reception to the Super Bowl Pre/Post Game Party for CBS at the World Congress Center, to the Post World Series Parties at the 755 Club at the Turner Field.
