| My name is Matt Teves. I am 18 years old and music is my LIFE. NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN IT. I play drums, bass, guitar, and sing. Im not looking to be a lead vocalist but will do backups. Drums are the instrument i am best at in my opinion. Ive been playing music for over 6 years. I am looking for a SERIOUS band. I dont want a cover band or a band that is playing music for fun. I want a serious band who wants to make it in the music bussiness. I am currently in a band called Monkeys From Mars. We are doing very well but if a better opportunity came along id take it. Im not looking to screw around, not to brag but I know damn well what im doing. Id wanna join a band that has somewhat of a fan base already and has been around for a bit with good connections. My band now has had some big people look at us such as EMI which is interested and wants our press kit, Earl Slick (David Bowie guitarist) wants to produce us and have played with big bands around the region including Rides Again. I dedicate my life to music and want to make it even bigger with a band thats fully to my liking.Here are some band that influence my sound and playing style with my instruments: AFI, Alexisonfire, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion, Bayside, Chiodos, Comeback Kid, Death by stereo, Fall out boy, Flyleaf, Foo Fighters, Ill Scarlett, NOFX, Paramore, Protest The Hero, Rides Again, Silverstein, Thrice, Trivium, Unearth and Zao. The mp3 is of my band MFM and me playing bass so you can check out my bass playing style, but i have nothing to show my drums or guitar style :( |
