Finding music to be the ultimate expression, Art of Chaos has taken it as their responsibility to end the chaos of daily lives by battling it with furious rock prowess and seductive melodic allure. Transforming the nu-metal design with the soul as the compass, the Los Angeles/Orange County based band has managed to create a sound all their own one that is untouched by the confines of genre and unmatched by their peers.

Formed in the summer of 2004, Art of Chaos found its beginnings in guitarist Matt Ardisson’s search for unique and like-minded musicians in southern California. Taking his thirst for artistry and drive for success with him, the North Carolina native spanned greater Orange County area in hopes to find those individuals he knew he was meant to meet. Several weeks later, fate would have it that Los Angeles native Brian Torres would come across an ad in LA Weekly and answer the call. After a short audition it was apparent that the two had found the synergy they had been yearning for. The pair hit it off instantaneously and in the coming months the two would see the faces of musicians come and go in the search for the missing pieces to the puzzle.

It was not until the introduction of bassist Rico Avila, that the band could sense the search coming to a close and could feel rumbles of ingenuity soon to explode. The trio was quickly graced with the presence of drummer Dave Feldman, an untapped fury, ironically enough, residing next door to Ardisson. It was with this addition that Art of Chaos was complete.

Declaring themselves the hardest working band around, Art of Chaos spends every waking moment away from work and education creating an influx of songs and mastering the art of their live performance. And the preparation shows, with every performance, no matter how big or small, infused with an immense energy and purity untouched by most bands in Hollywood today.

Playing numerous shows in Los Angeles and Orange County, Art of Chaos is spreading their love for their music and connecting with avid listeners of all backgrounds. In hopes to revive the rock scene and the love for the live show, the band never hesitates to rock the masses. With a large following stemming from the campuses of UCI and USC, the army of appreciation grows with every moment.

Recently having spent time in the legendary Jim Henson Recording Studios working with a team of producers, Art of Chaos has prepared a collection of songs that is only a small taste, but a delicious offering. Aptly titled, Ammunition, their new EP is a palette of style and dynamism. A hard-hitting sound with biting tone and courageous harmony, yet so accessible. With songs delving into the detriment of the modern psyche and the growing expectations of youth, the band proves that their music is not only aurally pleasing but smart as well. Conjuring up a revolution of emotion and liberation, the listener is invited to relate to matters often unspoken yet so universal. In this exchange lies the beauty of their art.

Loaded with their new EP and never-ending performance dates, Art of Chaos is on the rise. You are invited to partake in the journey…to experience the unleash of the art of chaos.
