About Article of the sun
Within a matter of four months of launching the web page , It has generated over 50,000 visiters within just a few months of showing this project to the publics eye.(www.articleofthesun.com/stats). In a very short time Article Of The Sun has been featured on radio stations as , IAR Networks out of North Carolina, PA exposure out of PA , 94.3 the X out of Knoxville TN.Article Of The Sun has now cultivated an underground following through out the midwest area through relentless promotion.Over 5000 copies of the current demo has been ordered and that is helping to send this band to success at a very fast rate. Stylistically, Article of the sun features an array of melodies and riffs, all delivered with the intenseness that defines this concepts live shows and perspective on what music should be. Manoahs lyrics detail the light and dark of the human experience. The music enhances the lyrical content by providing its own ups and downs with pounding rhythms and melodic passages that lead to their “Electro-Organic” sound (as the band describes it). One thing that is certain about the music Article of the sun writes is that it will cause the audience to feel something and react. With the development of the Article of the sun Streetteam and the website, the band has been able to reach fans that they would not have been able to reach by themselves. "Im really proud of our friends and our fans. They've supported this project every step of the way and I think they can count on me as much as I've been able to count on them", explains vocalist/song writer Manoah Ledford. "We really have a relationship with our fans that extends beyond the music". And it is helping us alot that we have street teams now set up in Florida,Chicago and Colorado. And it seems people really want to help us out" Right now Article Of The Sun is working on the full length accoustic album "Within Ruins" and will follow it up with the completion of the plugged album "What Remains" .
