Jul 24, 08 Bristol Band wants Lead Guitars Forming A Band - Male or Female Guitarist Wanted Rock/ Indie Chick vocalist forming a band......girls/ guys mixed, have found a drummer called Kevin and also roped in a lass called Laure who is multi talented but is going with bass guitar. So i am now calling out for a guitarist, dude or dudette, to join in our venture.... We are all from different sides of Bristol so already have to meet somewhere in the middle, Brentry, Kingswood and Yate..... Here was my ad as a singer wanting a band, for a musical idea..... Ok so i\\\'m big into the 80\\\'s, love my 80\\\'s rock and am a big fan of artists such as BonJovi, Guns\\\'n\\\'Roses, Aerosmith, Meatloaf, Bryan Adams, Whitesnake, Def Leppard etc.... as well as being a big David Bowie and Cyndi Lauper fan. Have a very eclectic taste in music as well as cd collection, love everything from Prince to Bette Midler, Shania Twain to Chicago and Mike and the Mechanics. In todays world, i love a bit of everything again..... but find myself leaning towards Newton Faulkner, The Fratellis, The Feeling, Scissor Sisters, Mika, Scouting For Girls, Pink, Anastacia, Kelly Clarkson...... VERY eclectic.... So. I have always been into my music and loved to sing but had no confidence as a kid.... did a performance arts course at college just to throw myself in at the deep end and grow the confidence to sing in public, s well as vocal teaching to learn how to work my voice. Mission accomplished, am now a karaoke queen and love to sing whenever i can. I\\\'m now at the point where my voice has grown along with the confidence... and now feel i should do something with it, and want to very badly! So here i am. Not sure what..... but if there are others out there locally who wanna be the music to my vocals, covers or whatever, i\\\'m pretty willing to try anything though i know what suits my voice and i know what doesn\\\'t! I do work full time, 5days a week..... so i\\\'m just looking for someone else who has an everyday life to deal with too who wants to do what they love, with me....
