Norwich Band Wants Singer

Jul 20, 08 Norwich Band wants Singer Singer wanted Me and a friend of mine are starting a band and we're looking for a singer. I play guitar and a bit of synth and he plays guitar. The idea is to mix several different styles - Pop / indie / dance / rock and experimental, and do something original. We're toying with the idea of not having a drummer or bassist, and instead using programmed beats and bass. My influences - Daft Punk, Hot Chip, Justice, CSS, The Prodigy, Blur, Beck, Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, Rage Against The Machine, Van Halen, The Police, Duran Duran, and even things like the Ting Tings. The guitarist is into much of the same stuff, as well as some indie and a bit of reggae. We like the idea of having a female singer, though male vocalists are welcome to apply as well. You don't have to be experienced, but talent and writing ability are essential. We want to have fun but also take it seriously.
