London Lead Guitars wants Band Looking to Join/Form Post-Rock/Post-Metal/Sludge Band Isis Pelican Explosions Returning to West London end of September (thought i'd get an ad out early!) Based in Ealing 20yrs old competent guitarist. Have own gear (Epi SG, JCM2000+4x12, Pedals etc) but no transport! Relevant influences include: Isis, Cult of Luna, Pelican, Sigur Ros, Explosions in the sky, Red Sparowes, Mogwai, Crippled Black Phoenix, 65DaysofStatic, Boards of Canada, GY!BE, Caspian, Kayo Dot, Rosetta, Russian Circles, Between the Buried and Me, Converge etc. looking to get some kind of down-tempo, repetitive, texture based project going, built from both chilled and peaceful phrases and parts heavy enough to flatten a tower block! Think, endless delays, sweeping chords and punishing riffs...
