Musician Wanted
Jul 3, 08 Tampa Band wants Drummer 31 Year-Old Rock-Punk Front-Man with 10 years exp looking for drummer I'm 31 and I was the singer, guitar player and songwriter in these bands: ANCHOR DRAG www.myspace.com/ anchordrag ABANDONED VEHICLES www.myspace.com/ abandonedvehicles SUPER POWER ABUSE www.myspace.com/ superpowerabuse I'd like to get a new rock-punk band together or join an existing band with like-minded individuals (25-35 years-old) with no self destructive tendencies (uncontrollable drinking, hard drugs like boom, crack, ice, pow etc. etc.). Previous experience playing in a band is a must. I am not looking to play in a band with people that play in multiple bands. I'd prefer a situation where everyone puts their musical eggs into one basket because I feel that you can accomplish a lot collectively by focusing your attention onto one band. Gas prices are going up. I'd like to practice 2 times a week and play out enough to basically take over the Tampa music scene and possibly the state of Florida for starters. Most recent stuff is Anchor Drag. If you do not like that stuff do not respond. Racists and bigots need not reply. I have a storage unit to practice in with a decent P.A. Shows would be easy to book. I think it's fun making tee shirts and what have you. If you have no previous experience recording in a studio and generally dislike the studio do not respond. If you are into music for making money, do not respond. Be prepared for lots of questions via email if you are interested.
City: Tampa FL Genre: Pop Punk
