Still looking ... Tulsa Any Musician wants Band Guitar, Bass Drummer needed? I am a musician with over 30 years experience. I am an accomplished lead guitar player with influences of: SRV, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Rush, and Van Halen; an accomplished bass player with influences of Jeff Berlin, Geddie Lee (RUSH), Chris Squire (Yes), Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Dixie Dregs, Cake, and several gospel influences; and a solid drummer with influences of ACDC, Aerosmith, and Genesis. I have played all three instruments semi-professionally and I'm used to playing in front of very large crowds.
I have enough top-of-the-line professional gear to basically to outfit an entire band including: Guitar, Bass, PA System and Lighting equipment. I am drug free and will not play in a setting with drug users. I am the founder, songwriter, and bass player (1990-93), and lead guitarist (1993-2002), of the Austin Based band CROSSWIND, with numerous songs currently being aired throughout several Texas markets. I am primarily a rock player with all instruments, but can also play jazz, funk, Southern Gospel, and fusion on bass including slap/ pop style. I can also sing back up vocals.
I am a serious musician who is looking for like-minded musicians who play for the love of music and not lofty dreams of becoming a rock star. I also have many years of semi-pro studio recording with guitar, bass and drums, and engineering and producing.
I am new to south Tulsa and looking to begin a musical commitment in this area. I am also available for part time church bands. I have a professional job during the week but I am available to travel during the weekends and limited travel during the weekdays.
