 Still looking ... Minneapolis Band wants Drummer Drummer Needed to Complete a Real Band OK, folks. Like so many bands in this town, we need a drummer. Unlike so many bands in this town, we're professional, organized, motivated and committed.
A little about us:
We are Lewd Panache. We are 3 guys who have been playing a long time and are tired of screwing around. We want to travel around playing original music and occasionally record an album. To help make that happen, we're playing cover gigs to tighten up and make some cash. We're trying to avoid the crappy bar band songs that every cover band plays, but we understand that we're gonna have to play a few of them to get paid. The drummer position has been filled by a series of temps, fill-ins & jobbers. That's gone well enough to prove that there's a market for what we're doing, but we need a full-time drummer to move forward. We have a couple decent booking contacts and will aggressively pursue an agent once we have a drummer on board. We are in pre-production for a demo/ EP and will finish that once we have a drummer on board.

We are not currently making much money, but we have been able to cover our expenses and still put a few bucks in our pockets. In this market, that ain't too bad to start.
A little about you:
We don't care about gender, race, age, sexual orientation, religion, etc. as long as you're not a jerk. You are able to play several nights a week and occasionally travel to do so. You are a quick study and relaxed enough to wing it from time to time. You are into a wide variety of music, but have tastes that generally align with what we're doing. If you write, sing or play other instruments, that's cool, too, but first and foremost, you're a drummer. You have your habits and addictions under control and always will.
Sadly, we need to specify this part: you play drums well, have a drum kit and are at least semi-capable of transporting yourself around.
