Still looking ... Toronto Any Musician wants Band LOOKING FOR DEDICATED BASS PLAYER hey, i need a bassist to come start rehearsing ASAP. I have a 3 piece band we\'re all 20-21, 2 guitars and a drummer. we play original tunes, have about 6 songs ready, not to technical and complicated but interesting non the less. we\'re looking for a somewhat experienced but dedicated bassist, who\'s willing to pitch in ideas and participate in the song writing process. influences are pixies, beatles, floyd, we like our share of classic rock, ska, sonic youth, radiohead, grateful dead, tool, sublime, the cure more recent bands broken social scene, the shins, tapes n tapes, menomena, the unicorns, the libertines. we\'re pretty open minded, and we are here to develop an original sound. we are almost ready to play shows, a bassist would speed up that process a lot. we rehearse at least twice a week, up in thornhill (finch station) and we sometimes practice downtown at dufferin and dupont at the Cactus (aka purple cactus or S& M) or the rehearsal factory (same street). if you\'re interested email me at Pavedgravel@hotmail.com or call my cell 647 866 8932. our band is called Cargo Cult, peace!
