Houston Band wants Bass Player Bassist Needed FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: BASSIST NEEDED 3-15-2008 - HOUSTON TEXAS The Hectic is actively seeking a talented individual to fill the bass position within a premier Houston based Rock act. With an existing fan base, name recognition, history and upcoming full length CD release, The Hectic hopes to build continue regional success. The Upcoming 2008 slated CD release is to be followed by live performances that will develop several key markets and fan base growth. The Hectic is an active member of The Houston Band Coalition and has been endorsed by the organization since November 2004. Candidates must be willing to perform live 1 - 2 times monthly, routinely practice 2 nights per week, have professional attitude, style and quality sound. The new member will be full band members and will join part of a hardworking team of consummate players and performers. The new member will be accompanied by existing members: Ronnie Tinsley, Guitar & Vocals / Chris Owen, Guitar & Vocals / Kevin Reed, Guitar / Ken Pride, Drums / Corey Simpson, DJ & Samples / Marilyn Tovy, Cello. Currently, new tracks are being recorded and as these open positions are filled, these two candidates will be appearing on the new CD prior to production and their contributions to the release will be incorporated into the already ongoing recording process. Ronnie Tinsley is currently the sitting President of The Houston Band Coalition. Prior to the founding of The Hectic, Ken Pride and Chris Owen were previously members of accomplished regional bands known as “Cannabis Culture”, “Mind Field” and “Aggressor” and Kevin Reed was formerly of Houston’s own “The Truth”.
