Still looking ... Newport Bass Player wants Sessions Bass Tuition Hi there, a bit about me, I have been playing bass for 20 years, 13 of which in the London session scene. I graduated from the London guitar institute in 1996 and have worked in live performance, recording, tutoring and writing with many mainstream pro's including members of The Feeling, Katie Melua amongst others. I have very broad musical tastes from full-on Rock to Jazz, Electronica, Funk, Motown, Latin and everything across the spectrum really. I have a great interest in the technical advances made on the instrument and play lots of different styles, including the modern stuff: slap, tap, harmonics, chords and a lot of fretless too but save all the party tricks for when appropriate : ). The music is the priority! I am available for tutoring if that's what your looking for, I'm also available for recording and live work, sessions and deps. My influences are so broad it's pointless listing muso's or band influences (there are far too many)! I tend to fit with what I'm working with getting the right sound, style and feel.
