We are looking for an eclectic group of artists to create the original tracks that will bring musical inspiration to a new line of desks for the home - set to be unveiled nationwide this Spring.
If selected, your track will be featured throughout the country and across all points of the consumer buying experience:
- as part of a compilation disk given to customers at the point-of-sale
- included in a downloadable playlist n the product website
- used in interactive trade show displays to promote the line
- the potential to be played in stores throughout the nation by the retailers carrying the line
- the potential for live in-store performances at individual retailer launch parties
Each desk will be uniquely represented by a different song- and it could be yours! All you need to do is get us a demo tape by MARCH 24, 2008!

Well, if you think about it, there is a tempo to our lives- as we go about our everyday existence there is a rhythm, a pattern of activity. Our lives are filled with tasks that we engage in throughout the day and it can be challenging to strike a harmony amongst the work, play, chores and family. These desks are designed to be the hub that connects it all, the center to manage all the activities of life- six unique desk styles to provide sanity in the buzz of activity without sacrificing the beauty of design. These desks are not just functional, they are just plain cool to look at and would set off any room- something you\\\\\\\'ll discover when/ if you are selected for this project.
As the advertising agency of record for Herman Miller, Tandem Design, is currently accepting demo tapes from a wide genre of musical talent. We are asking that all interested artists send us a demo CD showcasing a range of their best work. From the submissions we will determine our final line up of up to 12 tracks.
