(Male or female) Traditional New Orleans, Chicago, Texas, country, southern, Funky flavor. Influences include: BB King, Albert King, Freddie King, Taj Mahal, The Band, Eric Clapton, The Funky Meters, Gatemouth Brown, The Neville Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, Otis Rush & Muddy Waters, Susan Tadeski, Big Time Sarah, Koko Taylor, Ettah James, Michele Wilson, Shemekia Copeland. Marcia Ball or Maria Muldaur etc. We are looking for New York’s best blues Singer(s). Should have a large repertoire of blues standards and have good stage presence. Or are quick learners.
