Toronto Band wants Singer SEEKING VOCALIST AND BASSIST - OPEN BAND AUDITIONS - FEB 10th Hello, We're a drummer (22) and guitarist (21) looking to find a singer and a bassist to complete a band. To give you an idea of what we sound like, we're influenced by bands such as Mudvayne, Slipknot, Sevendust, Disturbed, Seether, Rammstein, Chimaira, Staind, Tool, Meshuggah, Lamb Of God, and many others. Although influenced, we consider our music to be our own. The drummer is skilled, passionate about his playing, and well versatile in many varieties of metal drumming techniques. I myself play a baritone guitar and an eight string (heavy!!!). We're dedicated musicians capable of writing a variety of varied material and are looking for a singer who is likewise confident in themselves and their ability to sing as well as scream (Whether you're influenced by the same bands as us or not, we reiterate that you must be confident in both your screaming and singing abilities). As for our bassist position, we're looking for a bassist who doesn't mind the low tunings, and is willing to experiment and put alot of creativity into his writing and the band. We're both laid back guys and are as much about having fun as we are serious about getting our material out there and performing. We're willing to take it all the way if you are! This upcoming 10th of February, we are holding open Singer and Bassist auditions. We encourage all of those interested to come check us out, jam, and show us what you've got. The current details of the audition are as follows: Event: Guitarist and Drummer - Open Vocalist and Bassist Tryouts Facility: Rehearsal Factory Location: Dufferin & Dupont (330 Geary Ave, 1 street N of Dupont, W side of Dufferin) Time: Sunday, February 10th, 5-9pm Directions: We'll be located within the Rob Zombie rehearsal room, down the hall and on the left-hand side.
