New York Band Wants Bass Player

Still looking ... New York Band wants Bass Player Band looking for bass player 4-String, electric bass player needed for Rock n roll Band. Influences: Reverend Horton Heat, Social Distortion, Brian Setzer, Chris Isaak. Not a retro or gimmick band, we just play a style of rock that has that old school inspiration but is an updating of the sound for the 21st century. We like mean, dirty guitar riffs, drum beats that can swing and have a good rythmic feel to them, but as we like to say, "it's gotta be sexy!". We are based in Astoria, so someone from that area or nearby would be preferable, but if we all click together, we would consider you even if you are not from nearby. We don't want a hired gun, we are looking for a permanent, contributing member who will also be a trusted friend. Gear and transportation a must. We have our own monthly rehearsal space, so be prepared to contribute to that also. Only responsible, supportive, positive people need apply. We recorded 6 songs that we'll be mixing this July, and will have the CD ready in August. If we find a bass player by this time, we will include him/ her in the CD photos and will credit that person as a bandmember.
