Melbourne Flutist Wants Band

Still looking ... Melbourne Flutist wants Band Just want to PLAY! Hello! I’m bel, how’s it going? I\\\'ve just moved to the city (Melbourne) for educational purposes and am DYING without any bands! At home I was a dedicated member of the local brass band (a reliable 2nd cornet GO TEAM). I also played flute and alto sax at school. I am really just looking for a fairly relaxed band that I can be a part of. I’m not a particularly brilliant player. My range on cornet is pitiful for the high notes but if I had a reason to play higher than C D E F I’m sure I could (some tips would help, I’ve never had a lesson). I played flute for a shorter period of time than cornet.. about 8 years or so I think. I finished my 6th grade AMEB approx. 2 years ago and have been at it ever since. I’ve been playing Sax for about 4 years and I wouldn\\\'t say I’m talented but I can crank out whatever you like (you must be warned that I’m not much of a soloist...yet). Basically I’d love to play in a band that’s quite relaxed, there to enjoy themselves and just to make good music, good harmonies.. .mmm. Anyway that’s me.. I’m missing the vibe that I’m so used to.
