Atlanta Band wants Bass Player Heavy Post Rock Project Seeks Bassist my band, Nigredo, is looking for bass to complete our lineup. we've got two guitars, keys, drums, and 50 minutes of music written. our style is a kind of heavy post rock with elements of doom metal, ambient, and experimental music. all our songs are instrumental. our main influences include (on the heavier side) Isis, Cult of Luna, Tides, and Rosetta as well as (on the lighter side) Sigur Ros, Mono, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, and This Will Destroy You. we're looking for a bass player that can add additional melodic lines and won't always play in the pocket. some effects (delay, fuzz, modulation, etc) are also a HUGE plus. anyway, let me know if you'd be interested in coming out and jamming with us. we've got a free rehearsal space in Midtown. we've also got a couple rough demo tracks recorded before we found our drummer if you want to get an idea of our direction. either way, take care! ---josh City: Atlanta GA Genre: Experimental
