Still looking ... Sherman Oaks Band wants Band Singer/songwriter looking for backing vocalist/lead guitarist, drummer, and bassist! I'm a singer/ songwriter with over 15 songs and recordings and am just starting to perform in public, but before I start doing shows -- I have one scheduled for February -- I want to get together a backing band. My music is very much influenced by classic rock, folk, jazz, alternative rock, blues, and soul/ R & B. I probably am most influenced by Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, The Moody Blues, Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone, Terry Callier, Nick Drake, Radiohead, Joni Mitchell, and Nirvana. I am looking mainly for musicians in their 20s who are interesting in playing drums, bass, or lead guitar to my music, but am open to considering other instruments.
