 Still looking ... Edinburgh Band wants Cellist Cellist wanted…for something original For original acoustic/ folk/ alternative band ‘mayhew’. We are currently comprised of a female vocalist from England, classical lead guitarist from France, and folk guitarist from Australia. We need a fourth member (and maybe also a percussionist) to complete our sound. You don’t need to be amazing as you can develop as we do – we want another member of the group, not a session cellist. However some skill would be nice plus the desire to take this seriously, as this band is the reason why the two guitarists are living in Scotland and we all want to do something with our music as we believe it offers something different. We also have had an offer to have our first album produced for free, so this will definitely be happening after our line up is solidified and everything is ready…

If you enjoy the songs and believe that you can contribute to finishing these, other, and future songs, then you may be right for us! We can meet up with you, show and discuss the other songs we have etc.
We prefer a female for the possibility of providing backing vocals, and to keep the band balance, but all are welcome to have a chat with us about it.
