 Still looking ... Orlando Band wants Lead Guitars Etchet in Stone seeks 2nd Guitarist Here's the deal. Now that we have had some time off, we are going to start Auditioning for a new Guitar Player. For the most part, we are looking for someone who is a good person, who can work together with people, and also someone who has a good knowledge of guitar and music theory. We also want someone laid back and cool, someone we can get along with, and who will get along with all of us. It's all about working together on a common goal to write good music that we all enjoy playing. That is the key. We don't want someone to come in and try and take over everything we are doing and impart their ways on us. We are a collective group of musicians, not a one man show. We just want to write good songs that people will enjoy. We don't particularly care about what kind of equipment and effects you have. That isn't a big deal, we just ask that you have a guitar and an amp that is loud enough to be heard over drums and bass and another guitar. We currently do not have a whole PA set up. We have a power amp and mics. That is it. If you have PA speakers and a mixing board, hey, that would help us out, but we are not making a decision based on the fact that you have said equipment. We want someone we can get along with and work with. We are a team and a unit, everyone's opinion is important. It's all about the connection both musically and as humans. We want guitarists to come out and have fun doing what they do best. Their is no set boundaries that we have, we are looking for someone to collaborate with, have fun, and make great music in the process. What we are looking to do is this, we are going to give you a one week trial. 3 Practices. Come out, jam with us, learn 1 or 2 of our songs, see what you can add to it (testing your creativity), and how fast you can learn it. 2nd, we are going to just jam out and have fun, see what kind of stuff you are capable of creating on the fly. After a week, we will sit down and evaluate how you did and let you know if you are who we are looking for. We would like to audition a few different people. The important thing to remember is that we are going to take our time with this to find the right person. We don't want to rush this or take someone and just put them in the band and then a few months down the road it doesn't work out, then we are back to square one. So just e-mail us here on myspace or if you have one of our phone numbers, call us, then we can set up the time to jam. We will be practicing in Oviedo at our new drummers house.
