Chicago Band wants Brass Instruments Attention Brass Players MUSICIAN CALL The Illinois Brass Band is auditioning professional level brass players and percussionists for their upcoming 2007 – 2008 season. There are open positions for the following instruments: Cornet, Flugelhorn, Tenorhorn, Baritone/ Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba, and Percussion. IBB is an internationally recognized volunteer brass band based in the Chicago area and is conducted by Dr. Ryan T. Nelson, Northwestern University’s Associate Director of Bands. The ensemble rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:15 – 9:45pm at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. Interested musicians are encouraged to attend a rehearsal prior to auditioning.
