Still looking ... Pittsburgh Band wants Bass Player Things Worth Knowing looking for a bassist. Things Worth Knowing (TWK) is looking for a bassist. Vocals and, song writing are a plus, but not required. We are looking for a bassist that is committed and motivated, and can come up with their own parts. We would like to be playing out regularly (we had just started trying to get out regularly when we lost our bassist), how soon would depend on how soon a new bassist can become acclimated and learn the songs. You can check us out at www.myspace.com/ thingsworthknowing Things Worth Knowing are an up and coming original acoustic, alternative band formed in March of '06 by a girl (J.A.) with a song and a guy (Shifty) with... well... drums. Under the direction of manager/ producer Shannon Barwell, and the addition of Joe Hale on lead guitar, Things Worth Knowing has developed into a blending of simple acoustic guitar phrasing; and wholesome electric guitar, filthy with FX; with a strong back beat; underlining the melodic prose of J.A. and Joe. TWK consist of Jeanine - rhythm guitar (acoustic) and vocals; Joe - lead guitar (electric) and vocals; Craig - drums; and Shannon - Producer/ Manager (amongst other things). Our current set list consists of 18 original songs, and we have more in various stages of completion. We practice three day a week at a house in Neville Island, about 15 min northwest of down town, on Route 51 The best way to contact us is by email at twk.band@gmail.com Thank you for your interest and we hope to be hearing from you soon.
