London Band Wants Cellist

Still looking ... London Band wants Cellist ELECTRIC CELLIST sought by electronic music duo An electr0nic music duo from stoke newington, London are looking for an electronic cellist to collaborate with on material that will be performed and produced and prepared for an album - we have musical examples to share which have been produced by Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music. Our influences range from Stockhausen and birdsong to the Velvet Underground, world music and Bjork. We are open-minded and trained as artists. The percussion we use is from an electronic drum kit, we also use samples and occasionally guitar. Vocals are important as are lyrics and we are moving more in the direction of using the voice not only as a story telling tool but as an instrument. The ideal string player would have an understanding of electronic effects and looping pedals for her/ his instrument.
