Atlanta Bass Player wants Band Experienced Bassist Available I am an experienced and versatile bassist looking for a professional-quality, steadily working band in the Atlanta area or a promising new project. My ideal gig involves working with friendly and mature people in the 30-45 age range (flexible) who want to play good, intelligent music, and I'm open to just about any musical style except country or hardcore metal. I play 4- and 5-string bass, fretless and electric upright and have amplification to suit just about any venue. I'm able to learn new material quickly, but I also have reading skills (a bit rusty, however...use it or lose it). I also have a full-time day job and do not harbor any delusions about "making it big." What I really care about is making music to the best of my ability as frequently as possible.
