Pittsburgh Band wants Bass Player Bass Player Wanted for Original Recording Prog Rock Band We are a local, original, PROGRESSIVE, recording, professional, rock act in need of a bass player. We are somewhat successful, having 4 CDs under our belt, plus a modest international following. We are not however, a weekend top 40 band. We do not play covers in bars on weekends to buy new clothes for junior! We are very serious about what we do, and that is writing, recording, and performing original progressive rock. If you have heard of bass players such as Jeff Berlin, Jaco Pastorius, Chris Squire, Michael Rutherford, Tony Levin, Greg Lake, etc., and if you like bands such as Dream Theater, ELP, Genesis, Yes, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Flower Kings, etc., then this might just be the gig for you!! You must also have your own transportation and equipment. Must also be dedicated, responsible, reliable, and drug free. If you think you might be interested in trying out, please respond by E-mail.
