London Band wants Cellist ELECTRIC CELLIST sought by electronic music duo An electronic music duo from Stoke Newington London are looking for an electric cellist to collaborate on new work which will be performed, produced and prepared for an album. The ideal cellist will have an understanding of electronic effects and looping pedals to use with their instrument as we feel that the possibilities are endless for this instrument when combined with such tools. Our influences range from modern classical music like Stockhausen to natural music like birdsong and avant rock like the Velvet Underground and Brian Eno to art pop i.e. Bjork and Kate Bush. We have examples of music we can share which has been produced by Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music.
