Still looking ... Waltham Band wants Bass Player Metal/Blues Band ISO Bassist Our name is A DARK IN THE LIGHT. We're originally from Gainesville, FL and have a small but loyal fanbase in north Florida. We've decided to move the band to Boston in search of a new bassist, and a better scene. We're looking for a versatile bassist, a guy who can handle both brutally heavy metal, and very melodic, blues-based improvisation. We need a player with solid gear, transportation, and a lifestyle that allows time for dedication to a serious band. Our biggest influences are Pantera, Unearth, Tool, and the Allman Brothers, to name just a few. We draw heavily from older thrash metal, new heavy bands (metal and hardcore alike), and a variety of classic rock and blues bands. We're very serious about what we do. We have solid gear, reliable transportation, a professionally-recorded 8-song EP (Goldentone Records), connections in the Boston metal scene, and real experience playing in a working metal band.
