We are looking for one female singer to perform motown hits (songs between the 50's and 70's) on the southern islands of Thailand. Koh Samui is one of the main touristy Islands in Thailand, traveled year round with tourist from every part of the world. English is a common language here on the Island so there is no worry of a communication barrier. The weather is tropical, so its always sunny!!! Koh Samui is a beautiful Island with the clearest and most amazing beaches and waters - this is truly an amazing opportunity! The Kingdom of Thailand requires all foreign nationals to have a valid working visa and work permit in order to be employed in Thailand. An applicant for a work permit must be at least 18 years old. ThaiAm Entertainment is looking for a black female vocalist to fill the part of an entertainment project to be called “Koh Samui’s Dream Girl”. This position requires applicant be at least 18 years old; capable and willing to sign a six month contract to work in Thailand. Project expected to run from 15 December 2007 through and including 15 June 2008. The following requirements will be imposed on the applicant; 1. Sign a six month binding contract for work in the Kingdom of Thailand. 2. Possess a passport valid for at least 6 months after the termination date of contract. 3. To comply with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand at all times and to represent ThaiAm Entertainment Co., Ltd. in a professional manner. 4. Required to work as a vocalist 5 nights per week singing for not less than two (2) hours each night. 5. Required to provide her own wardrobe which should be smart casual. 6. Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated. 7. Required to provide her own backing tracks in MP3 format on CD, DVD disk or memory stick. A minimum of six (6) hours of quality music must be available to allow for a variety in nightly shows. Music must be those titles classified as “Motown” from the years 1950 through 1970. 8. Applicant may be accompanied on this contract, but any and all additional costs incurred will be at the expense of the applicant. The following requirements will be imposed on ThaiAm Entertainment Co., Ltd.; 1. will provide round trip economy airfare from a major US airport to Koh Samui, Thailand 2. will provide all working documents including working visa and work permit 3. will pay all employment taxes during the term of the contract 4. will provide health insurance during the term of this contract 5. will provide (through client contracts) one meal for each working day 6. will pay a salary of not less than $2, 000 US Dollars each month paid bi-weekly.
