![]() Still looking ... Philadelphia Band wants Bass Player Rock Bassist NEEDED NOW! Established Philadelphia-Area rock band, Far From Westfall, is seeking a bassist to replace our recently dismissed bassist. We have spent the last 5 years creating 3 EP\'s and amassing hundreds of shows in the Philadelphia/ Allentown/ NYC/ DE areas. A few venues we\'ve played include Grape Street Pub (WMMR Rock Night), The Trocadero, Abilene\'s, The Pontiac Grille, Crocodile Rock Cafe, etc. With the release of our 3rd EP in the coming months, we are in need of a full time bassist to step on board for the ride of promoting the new EP and taking the biggest step yet in the push of our FFW fanbase in the Philadelphia region. We are looking for someone who wants to have a definite input on our future writing. Creative, dedicated, driven, and artisitic describe a few traits we desire in our new bassist. Back-up VOX a huge plus, but not necessary. We want a bassist who appreciates the power of bass when played in the proper rock context, not a bassist who wants to play guitar. If this describes you, please read on... FFW practices Tuesday nights at Surreal Sound Studios in Philly on Castor Ave. and we plan to book anywhere from 2-6 shows per month, depending on the time of year. Usual, summer is much more busy. We currently have a stand-in bassist from another band who will not be able to make the full-time committment, so we are in search of someone who wants to be a part of what we have. Auditions will take place on Tuesday nights at www.surrealsoundstudios.com Please check out our myspace for info on the band, and feel free to contact us either via myspace, or simply reply to me via this email address. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and we hope to talk with you soon! www.myspace.com/ farfromwestfall City: Philadelphia PA Genre: Rock |
