Hawthorne Upright Bassist wants Band upright bassist/new project okay so... i play the upright bass and the guitar and i\'m good at them both. i wanna play upright bass so... i need a drummer with metal/ hardcore double pedal, a guitar player (any genre), and a singer, possibly another singer for dual vocals. locals prefferred. i\'ll play punkabilly, psychobilly, and hardcorebilly and anything that sounds like real punk with an upright bass. new project i\'m trying. i ditched my old band cuz they wanted to go standard e-bass. influences range anywhere from jimi hendrix, srv, to the partisans, total chaos, chaos uk, agent orage, to silverstein, saosin, to fleetwood mac, to johnny cash, to pearl jam especially, to G\'n\'R, to as i lay dying, to tiger army, mad sin, the quakes, demented are go. there\'s tons of genres i listen to.. the list goes on and on. i\'m self taught on both instruments and DAMN serious about playing. i\'ve taken many days off of work for practice. music is my life and i wanna play it. i know people in well-known subculture record labels and i can get us booked for known venues. i just need a band to do it with. open minds highly highly prefferred. as far as age goes, 18+ prefferred but i\'ll make exeptions if you can really play your instrument. at least SOME knowledge of your instrument IS required. going for slightly political punk to slightly violently greusome to anything that has some sort of intelligent message in it. if you\'re seriously interested, email me: bonestheripper@yahoo.com HAWTHORNE, CA 5 miles from LAX surrounding citties: lawndale, inglewood, del aire, redondo beach, manhattan beach, los angeles, torrance, gardena, el segundo... maybe south gate and lynwood too.
