 Still looking ... Orlando Band wants Bass Player Looking for Bass Player to join Christian (Rock-etc) band We’re looking for a Bass player who is willing to go the long haul with our band. We are a Christian band that leads worship regularly at a college ministry and for a church. Our future plans are to lead worship at various venues during touring cycles or for single events, as well as to play shows and concerts wherever we get the chance. We have a catalog of original music that is varied lyrically (written to God, about God, about relationships, about life, about the dark sides of life and the bright sides of life).
Regardless of what we are writing and playing, and where we are playing, our goal is that it is honest… to ourselves, those around us, and to God. We are looking to go in the direction of both leading others in worship as well as playing out at local venues, clubs, bars, whatever (original material that is applicable). We are wrapping up sessions on our full length debut album. It is a bit hard to pin us down musically other than to say we fall in to the rock genre with hints of pop ( I know that’s about as vague as it gets). Music samples are available upon request.
However, we don’t like to be in a box and enjoy listening to and playing all kinds of music. We’re looking for someone who can learn fast (because we play a large number of songs in fairly heavy rotation), has good chops, and can be dedicated for a potential long haul… Someone who is creative , and loves to give their input into all aspects of our music. We are all taking this as a career opportunity and are looking for someone who wants go there with us, who can take practice and rehearsal seriously, and someone who we can mesh well with as a friend! We are all in our early 20’s and would look for someone who is somewhat close to that. Hope to hear from you soon!!
