Woodhaven Singer wants Band FemaLe vocalisT HERE i am currently seeking the following: 1) paid industry jobs: session work, live performance, background vocals 2) an already ESTABLISHED group. if you're a full group looking for that last member PLEASE have something to show for yourselves. i don’t expect you to be signed or to offer me hollywood connections, but i’m not looking to start something at ground level. (believe me, been there, done that!). i have been doing the musician/ band thing my whole life (writing/ recording/ shows/ etc.). i’m extremely dedicated, experienced, & most importantly TALENTED. i am NOT looking for a cover band nor am i looking for someone to WRITE my lyrics for me. i am looking to work with people who are true artists. everyone must be responsible for their own roles within the band - constructive criticism or "suggestion" is great but am certainly NOT looking for a dictatorship. ‘humble’ egos (read: high level of confidence) not only welcomed but needed! i am very open to styles, etc. but my love is dark, heavy, melodic stuff. progressive HIGHLY desired, not interested in your typical verse-chorus-verse songs. lastly, i'm serious about music but am an extremely happy, down-to-earth, get along with anyone, easy to please type of person (who has her head on straight : ) Please visit www.heroinemusic.com & excuse the construction.
