 Still looking ... Malvern Band wants Bass Player Bass player desired Original acoustic rock project is ready to make the push for stardom! Songs are complete with good lyrics, vocals, rythym guitar, and drums. We are working with a bright new young manager to put together our press kits, demo, and bio portfolio. Currently we are looking for a bass player with good fingers to come in to lay down four tracks in a studio on the Drexel University campus. There will be no compensation for the studio work that he/ she does. However, if the person turns out to fit the role, the reward of becoming a part of this entity and playing paying gigs will far exceed any part-time studio pay. Potential is endless. The influences of the members are wide ranged but include: DMB, Cold Play, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Jazz, Sting, Paul Simon etc..
The parts are not written down for the bass, but there are some ideas down on record and the lead vocalist/ songwriter has a pretty good idea of what he wants the lines to be.(not much homework required) We are looking to get the bass tracks done by mid December, so contact us as soon as possible to set up an interview!
We are also seeking a 'lead' person to fill out the complete sound. This can be keys, electric guitar, or acoustic guitar. Glam and glory boys and big egos need not apply. We are looking for the ONE who can hear what needs to be added to the sound with a tasteful touch. This position is not as time sensitive, but the rest of the rules from paragraphs 1 and 2 apply.
