Chicago Band Wants Bass Player

Still looking ... Chicago Band wants Bass Player driving bass player needed we are a band of ex punk/ hardcore kids that are tired of playing heavy stuff. we still want to rock out, but in more of a forward thinking way. we play semi technical rock music with pretty guitars, tons of hooks, and big harmonies. we have several songs written, and some in the works. we need a great bass player and drummer to complete the project. bass - someone who plays in the pocket, working with the drummer to complement the songwriting and provide the punch. also to drive the songs along when needed bass players who use a pick are welcome, no slap bass please. drums - someone who is creative and interested in unique patterns. we want the drums to be part of the way songs are shaped, rather than as a response to the songs. small kits are fine, we dont need gongs and xylophones. rthym section influences - minus the bear, small brown bike, hot water music, brand new, sparta, pelican must be experienced and ready to play metro, double door, etc by the end of summer. please contact me for mp3. nick@wesleeplikesharks.com City: Chicago IL Genre: Rock
